Research Engineer Next Generation Soft-Magnetic Components for Automotive Power Electronics (f/m/div.)
Aufgaben
- As a part of the Bosch corporate research team, you create advanced soft-advanced magnetic components through the introduction of new technologies, materials, design approaches and power-electronics conversion concepts for future converter applications.
- You develop innovative concepts for transformers as well as chokes and thereby help shaping the future of electromobility.
- Also, you create new high performance and highly compact soft-magnetics for dc-dc converters and battery chargers as part of a multidisciplinary project team and critically evaluate the impact of new technologies (e.g. core material, winding technology), concepts on component as well as on product integration level (e.g. potting, cooling, termination).
- Furthermore, you conduct in-depth research in several aspects of magnetics for power electronics that may involve modelling, simulation, optimization, design and validation of magnetic components (esp. transformers and chokes) as part of an overall topology and modulation technique as well as testing and characterization of new concepts in lab environment.
- You passionately push your ideas from concept to validation, strive for successful technology transfer to Bosch business units and support development engineers on the path towards industrialization by tackling concept related challenges.
- Finally, you continuously follow the technology advances as well as research trends in your field of expertise and share those along with your innovative ideas with researchers at our corporate research organization and developers at Bosch business units.
