- As a purchasing project manager, you are member of an international and interdisciplinary team in an open and trusting working environment. You shape your time between office, home office and onsite at supplier to ensure our strong product orientation.
- In the project management you are responsible for our components of the products iBooster, Brake-by-Wire actuator (BWA) and Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB) with overall responsibility for quality, costs and deadlines.
- As interface within the business unit, you are responsible for the simultaneous engineering between the project team and the suppliers regarding project, technical and commercial requirements.
- You actively shape the future by accompanying the project from the innovation phase to the steady serial production. In doing so, you play a decisive role in the conception of our purchased parts and in definition of an effective supply chain.
- With your technical background, product knowledge as well as your creative purchasing strategies, you increase the competitiveness of our innovative brake systems.
Profil - Education: completed university studies in engineering; industrial, electrical, mechanical or a comparable course of study
- Experience & Knowledge: you have several years of experience as a project or sub-project manager, ideally in purchasing; you are familiar with technical challenges and have knowledge of manufacturing processes, expertise in the product area of foundation drums and calipers brake is an advantage
- Personality and Working Practice: you are good at maintaining an overview even in complex projects and coordinating your own topics; you can also defend your professional opinion in discussions
- Enthusiasm: you enjoy solving challenging tasks and international cooperation
- Languages: very good written and spoken English, German is a plus
