Application Engineer – Driver Assistance Systems
Aufgaben
This position includes application/ calibration responsibilities of advanced camera based driver assistance functions.
Take responsibility:
You will be responsible for camera vehicle integration, debugging using automotive development tools such as CANalyzer, CANape and Matlab as well as in-vehicle and simulation/ bench performance calibration of camera sensor based algorithms. Furthermore your responsibility includes evaluating customer specifications and translating the system requirements into Rational DOORS, evaluate requirements and test coverage, and support issue.
Work as a team:
You will work directly with an entire development team including software developers, fellow application/ calibration engineers and project managers to develop project specific solutions for driver assistance and/or automated driving technologies.
Act as an entrepreneur:
Support test drives with customer. First point of contact for OEM for application topics, prepare technical presentations for customer.

Experience and Know-how:
BS/ MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree. One or more years experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures in automotive or related industry. One or more years experience in systems/ requirements engineering. You have a strong knowledge of driver assistance sensor technologies and functions. Hands on experience with agile development methods (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, etc.). Good understanding of vehicle architecture, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance Interfaces.
Languages:
Good English skills verbal / written (additional languages encouraged)
